What is Optimist Hall?

Optimist Hall is a 147,000 square foot redevelopment of a former gingham mill featuring a food hall complemented by retail, restaurants, and the Duke Energy Innovation Center. Located in the Optimist Park neighborhood between Uptown and NoDa, the development by Charlotte-based White Point and Atlanta-based Paces Properties has transformed a turn-of-the-century textile mill into one of the most unique projects in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

What are Optimist Hall’s hours?

Hall Hours:

Mon-Thur | 7am-9pm

Fri | 7am-10pm

Sat | 8am-10pm

Sun | 8am-9pm

Do you offer universal gift cards for Optimist Hall?

Each tenant uses their own POS system. Unfortunately, this means we can not provide gift cards that can be used hall-wide. We recommend visiting individual tenants to inquire about gift card availability.

I left something during my last visit to the hall. Do you have a lost and found?

Does Optimist Hall accept reservations? Can I reserve a table at the hall?

All seating at Optimist Hall is first come, first serve.

Can I bring outside food or beverage to Optimist Hall?

Food and beverage that is not purchased from Optimist Hall tenants is not allowed on the property, including birthday cakes.

Is Optimist Hall dog-friendly?

Your furry friends are welcome to enjoy our outdoor spaces, including the Main Courtyard. Due to health codes, however, any dog that is not a service animal is not permitted inside the food hall.

Does Optimist Hall have WiFi?

Yes, complimentary WiFi is available for our guests to use during their stay at the hall.
